- Palouse Prairie Climbing Club will be participating in this year’s Alternative Giving Market of the Palouse! For those of you that may not know, the AGMP is a fundraiser for local non-profits, where donations are made on behalf of friends and family as holiday gifts. The event will be held on Wednesday December 3rd from 4:00-8:00 at the 1912 Center. The PPSEL Climbing Club has the goal to raise $1,000 to build an overhung expansion to the school’s existing climbing wall (something that will benefit the entire school). This is a wonderful opportunity for the PPSEL community to come together and support youth climbing and the development of our school. You can also donate at Hyperspud Sports after you make a purchase.Check out the link below to see the Climbing Club's promotional film, thank you so much! -Mr. Pierce
- Our very own 3rd grade teacher, Jessie Dahlin and Director of Curriculum and Instruction, Jeneille Branen will be presenting at the Expeditionary Learning National Conference next week in Boston, MA. This is a huge accomplishment and honor to be selected to present!
Vision Screening: Tomorrow every student at PPSEL will receive a free vision screening by Dr. Polito from Alpine Vision. We are so grateful for her service and compassion!
The next Walking Wednesday is tomorrow, Wednesday, December 3!
- Julene Ewert will lead a walking bus leaving the southwest corner of 3rd and Polk Streets at 7:45 a.m., and then leaving from the Co-op at 8 a.m.
- Chris Caudill will lead a walking school bus from the SE corner of Mabelle and Lynn, leaving at 8 a.m.
An easy way to support PPSEL: Do you shop at Target or know a family member that does? If you have a target red card, every purchase gives a percentage to our school in cash. A school our size in Moscow last year received about $3,000! All you have to do is click on the link below and sign up under the Check contribution and update school tab or you can apply for a card. If you are in a Target store, you may also just tell customer service the name of our school. Please tell family members or friends that may live near a Target about this great, easy way to earn the school money. Thanks for the Having of Wonderful Ideas Lisa Tate! (a passionate parent of PPSEL)
