Go Fund Adventure!
The outdoors have the power to be completely transformative for young students. At Palouse Prairie we are looking to expand our outdoor and adventure program to help give our students more opportunities to build a strong, intrinsic relationship with the outdoors. We challenge our students to take risks and to step out of their comfort zones. Many of our students experience activities like skiing, hiking, and rock climbing for the first time at our school. There are big things on the horizon for our school and our students, but we need your help to make this happen. Your donation would be used for a variety of things: gear, bus fees, lodging/food, park/permit fees, ski passes, etc. Anything you can contribute to our program is greatly appreciated. Help get our students outside and to see what the outdoors really have to offer.
Trips this year that are planned or in the process of being planned:
- Snowshoeing at Fourth of July Pass
- Skiing and Lookout Pass and Bluewood
- Climbing at Post Falls
- Four day trip to Burgdorf Hot Springs/Payette National Forest
Last Push for the Schoola Fundraiser:
We kicked off a clothing drive with our fundraising partner, Schoola. What’s Schoola? It’s a great new way to raise funds for our school. Schoola collects pre-loved women’s and children’s clothes, preps and sells them online, and gives 40% of the proceeds back to our school to help fund programs for our kids. That’s $2 out of every $5 earned back to our school!
How you can help:
Donate clean clothing in new or like-new condition from 9/28/2015 - 10/2/2015. We’ll be collecting clothes at the school.
One more way you can help:
Spread the word! Tell at least 5 family members or friends. They don’t even need to live here. They just order a bag from Schoola to ship their clothes in.
Our school is conducting a food drive to support some of our students. This is a great chance to make a difference in our school community. Please join us in our efforts by dropping off the food in the office and know you are making a real difference in the lives of Palouse Prairie students.
