Please take five minutes to give the Board your perspective on how this year has gone for your child(ren). You might remember the questions from a similar mid-year survey, but answering again (and especially providing constructive follow-up comments) helps us track changes and identify areas of progress or concern. Money for Palouse Prairie is in the Bag!
We have had so much success with our Schoola Clothing Drive (raised over $1500 so far) we are opening our doors again. Bring in your nearly new used clothes for toddlers and women the last week of May and the first week of June. Women's handbags and shoes are also welcome.
What not to bring: men's clothing, infant (under 12 mo) clothing, sleepwear, underwear or socks, non-clothing items.
If you can't get your clothes in to the school or if you find things over the summer, you can still help us out anytime you like. Simply request a bag and send the clothing directly from your home. Here's a link to request a bag. Choose Palouse Prairie as the school to benefit and more money will be on the way to support the great adventures at PPS. Tell your friends and family to do the same!
Enrollment Packets will be sent home by email on Friday. They will be due back by June 3rd. If you would like a hard copy sent home with your student, please let the office know as soon as possible. We understand that your children are your most important assets. That's why we know you won't mind taking 5 to 10 minutes out of your busy schedule to fill out these forms that we need in order to take care of your children, keep them safe, and be in compliance with state and federal law.
Gifted and Talented Plan for Palouse Prairie School
We value parent input and want to provide opportunities for you to be key partners in your child’s education. On Wednesday, May 27th from 3:30-4:15, interested parents will have the opportunity to read and give feedback on the current draft. Please RSVP: firstname.lastname@example.org
Lost and Found
The weather is getting warmer and children are forgetting about their coats. Please come in to the office and look through our lost and found before the school year ends!
Pledge Drive 2015 :: We ♥ Palouse Prairie!
A huge thank you to those families who have already pledged! We have raised over $13,000 but are still far from our goal of 100% family participation. The suggested $250/student donation could mean $40,000 for improved technology equipment, competitive salaries for our dedicated teachers, more opportunities for fieldwork and adventure, and the continued development of new programs like foreign language or art. We have our sights set on moving into a new facility in the not-too-distant future and a strong base of financial support from families could expedite that exciting development.
Please take a moment to think about what *you* love about Palouse Prairie and give a donation that is meaningful for your family - whether that be $10 or $1,000. http://www.palouseprairieschool.org/donate.html
