A reminder that Moscow Marathon pledge envelopes are due back this FRIDAY May 8th. We don't need mile trackers but we DO need the pledge form with your student's t-shirt size indicated so we can place our shirt order. In the spirit of competition and collaboration, the class that secures the most pledges will earn an extra adventure at the end of the school year. Last year we raised over $7,000 to support our adventure program and we're hoping to do even better this year! A slew of local businesses have chipped in to defray the event's costs, so all money students raise will go directly to the adventure program that brought students rock climbing, snowshoeing, biking, skiing and hiking this year - without a single fee!
You can also help make this a successful event by inviting your non-PPSEL friends to participate (they can sign up through Friday at: http://moscowmarathon.eventbrite.com) and by sharing the FB event page on your own FB wall: https://www.facebook.com/pages/Moscow-Kids-Marathon/1428888664087798
Thank you for working to support our school and the innovative program that our kids love!
Fill the Racks this Wednesday!
Dust off those bikes and bike to school this Wednesday. Decorated bikes and/or helmets are encouraged. Volunteers will be there to do basic A,B,C (Air, Breaks and Chain) checks on students' bikes the morning of the the event. Volunteers will also be out handing reflective stickers to all bikers.
If you are handy with a bike and interested in helping Safe Routes to School do A,B,C checks that morning, please take a look at their online sign-up opportunities.
