Pledge Drive 2015 :: We ♥ Palouse Prairie!
A huge thank you to those families who have already pledged! We have raised $6,000 but are still far from our goal of 100% family participation. The suggested $250/student donation could mean $40,000 for improved technology equipment, competitive salaries for our dedicated teachers, more opportunities for fieldwork and adventure, and the continued development of new programs like foreign language or art. We have our sights set on moving into a new facility in the not-too-distant future and a strong base of financial support from families could expedite that exciting development.
Please take a moment to think about what *you* love about Palouse Prairie and give a donation that is meaningful for your family - whether that be $10 or $1,000. http://www.palouseprairieschool.org/donate.html
Moscow Kids Marathon :: May 29th
The 2nd Annual "Moscow Kids Marathon" will be on May 29th at Mt. View Park! Your student should have received a pledge envelope and mile tracker this week. Start logging your miles or equivalent exercise (30 minutes = 1 mile) and ask your neighbors, grandparents and family friends to sponsor you as you work towards the goal of 26.2 miles. Note that PPSEL students DO NOT need to register online; they will indicate their participation by returning their pledge form by MAY 8th.
Non-PPSEL children are welcomed and encouraged to participate and can register at http://www.moscowkidsmarathon.eventbrite.com. Please help us spread the word by liking and sharing the new FB event page. https://www.facebook.com/pages/Moscow-Kids-Marathon/1428888664087798
100% of the funds we raise will finance our innovative and wildly popular “Adventure Fridays” - full-day experiences that introduce students to a wide range of physical skills and activities from rock climbing to skiing to biking to swimming. In the spirit of “Collaboration and Competition,” the class that raises the most donations will earn an extra adventure!
