From the Parent Crew - Welcome Back Picnic a Success! Thanks to everyone’s adaptability and communication efforts, our Welcome Back “picnic” was a huge success! It was wonderful to see so many families gathered together to share food, good will and good humor. We particularly want to thank Slice and Biscuit for their support. They gave us a significant discount on the pizza to help make the event affordable for all our families, and when the weather went sideways at the last minute, they graciously offered to host our event at NO ADDITIONAL COST. We were very grateful that they were willing and able to smoothly create an alternative venue for us, with less than two hours notice, AND were willing to let us contribute our own side dishes, beverages and treats. It could not have gone any better if we had planned it — the adults were able to comfortably relax and visit while the children ran around and played. Please express your gratitude to Slice and Biscuit for their support, flexibility and generosity.
